Hurricane Ike destroyed the one bedroom house, Blanche Lamb (the owner of the home) had her brother in law (Tony Arrello) file a false claim with FEMA, stating that she had a 3 bedroom home, and over $400K of items inside the home which she did not. She was awarded by FEMA a year of rent, for a 3 bedroom town-home that she moved into, while we have moved into a two bedroom apartment. we found out that FEMA would not help my family because Blanche Lamb stated that we were living with her, which was not true, also Neighborhood Centers (in Houston) gave Blanche Lamb furniture, dishes, and free food for a year, as well as partial rent payment, and electric bill payment, and car insurance payment, for what they believed to be a family of five living in her town-home. Blanche Lamb took advantage of FEMA and Neighborhood Centers of Houston. She continued to receive help from FEMA even after she was awarded $125K in TWIA lawsuit, which she squandered with purchasing jewelry from jewerlyTV. My family could not receive any assistance because FEMA gave our help to Blanche Lamb through false claims. We had to live with no furniture in our home for 5 months, thankfully we found furniture on craigslist. I called FEMA fraud and they did nothing to investigate the allegations of fraud, and told me "sorry it happens" I want justice!
